The Char in Charpy's
Charlie or if you knew him, Char, was a son, cousin, friend and my little brother. Char was the type who could make any situation fun, who’s authenticity was infectious and had the ability to bring the best out of people.
Char was always authentic, sometimes irreverent, and never a downer. His tenacity for adventure and lust for life was limitless. He would take his friends cliff diving or rent a convertible to cruise the canyons in Malibu just to inject a bit of fun into everyone's day. Char was the glue of the friend group, the unabashed instigator of fun and life of the party.
Today, he inspires Charpy’s and grounds us in our mission to bring the same heart and unfettered joy to the world as he did.
"I started Charpy’s to keep Char’s spirit alive and spread it with the world. He saw life for what it could be, not just for what it was. Our mission is to spread his outlook ‘Have A Great Day’ with the world."
- Bobby Nickels, Charpy’s founder & Charlie’s brother
Char died in 2021 from an accidental Fentanyl overdose (Fuck FENTANYL). I’m driven to do good in Char’s name, 10% of all our proceeds will support those struggling with substance use disorder.
With your help, we can foster a world where substance use disorder is not a death sentence, and where everyone can live to have another great day.
Conquering Substance Use
